Today I am going to talk to you about my summary, my summary is about Student Volunteer Army.
This is my Summary about Student Volunteer Army

Student Volunteer Army

SVA that stands for the Student Volunteer Army. The SVA’s like to help around the city after something big happens in the city like are in the earthquakes but they don’t just help out after earthquakes they like to plant things around the city to make the town look pretty, they pick up rubbish and more.

Through facebook the student volunteer army sent a message to 200 people saying that they needed help
after the earthquakes. 1000 people came to help after the Christchurch earthquakes. The SVA’s New
motto it to,
Be a volunteer and stand up in the world. In the SVA know matter how old or young you are they
will yet you
participate
in what they do.

In there organisation is focused on learning new skills, meeting new people and making a positive
impact in there communities. Over 10 projects and multiple schools around the country joined
together and volunteered to
help out their communities in 2017. In February the operation was managed by a main team of
15 people, and additional team of 70 people. People were
divided into Battalions, Squadrons and Street teams.
The deployment of the battalions were the focus of the operation.

1000 of the volunteers were bused to the worst affected areas.They combed the streets looking for opportunities to assist the community.Squadrons provided assistance by responding to requests from people that came from the website,call centre, Civil defence and city city council.Up to were 450 car loads of students were allocated using a mixture of software, texting, and google mapping.

Today i will be sharing our school Values and how we can show and use them in our every day life.

You can show these by ♡

Respect, You can show respect by being kind and caring for the community and out side the community, showing Respect doesn't mean you find someone belongings like a pencil or work and you decide to brake it, but it means you will find how it belongs to.

Compassion, you can show Compassion by feeling for others when someone is sad so you mite feel pity or sympathy that is Compassion.

Service, You can show Service by help others and when they are hurt. A way you can help is at Assembly and help people cross the road

Integrity, you can show Integrity by being mindful of what you say and act and doing the right thing even when no one is watching.
